Every ranking is rebuilt from official match results — not reputation, not coach polls. The engine weighs who each team played (schedule strength), how recent each game was, and goal margins — so beating a strong opponent counts for more. Every team also gets an Overall score from 0–100, so any two teams can be compared at a glance, and ratings re-fit on a regular cadence as new results come in, so they track current form instead of a stale snapshot. The same engine powers match predictions, and we grade every forecast against the real result — see the live accuracy scoreboard.
